After his second son Jaylan was born, Dr. & Mrs. Beckles decided to become adoptive parents, so they could stop having children, and raise other people's kids, and eventually adopt them as their own, so they could bring more love into their happy home, and have a larger family, without the continued stress of conception,  due to Mrs. Beckles continuing to have babies at the age of 40, and risk the threat of a possible miscarriage!!
